How Vaayum Technologies collects, uses, and protects your personal information on vaayum.tech.
1. Who we are
Vaayum Technologies Private Limited ("Vaayum Technologies", "we", "us", or "our") is a technology company incorporated in India, with its principal office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We build and market Grid, an AI-powered workplace-intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through this website (vaayum.tech).
2. Information we collect
We collect only the minimum necessary for the purposes described below.
Contact form submissions
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the information you provide: your name, work email address, company name, and message. We do not collect any other personal information unless you choose to include it in your message.
Server logs
Our web server automatically records standard access logs — including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you visit — for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Google reCAPTCHA
Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, including your IP address and browser characteristics, and sends that data to Google for analysis. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and its terms of service. We use reCAPTCHA solely to protect the integrity of our contact form.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry. We use the name, email address, and message you submit to reply to you and address your questions about Vaayum Technologies or Grid.
- Security and anti-spam. Server logs and reCAPTCHA data help us detect and prevent unauthorised access, abuse, and automated threats.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Service providers we rely on
To operate this website and deliver our services, we engage the following categories of service providers, each acting on our behalf and under appropriate data-protection safeguards:
- Email delivery. Contact form submissions are forwarded to us via a transactional email service (Zoho Mail). Your message content passes through their infrastructure solely to deliver it to our inbox.
- Spam protection. Google reCAPTCHA (described above) processes behavioural signals to distinguish human visitors from automated bots.
We currently engage no other third-party processors in connection with data collected through this website.
5. Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not currently use any analytics service, advertising network, or tracking pixel on this website. We do not profile visitors or serve targeted advertisements. If this changes, we will update this Policy and our Cookie Notice before deploying any such technology.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and for a limited period of reasonable follow-up thereafter. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle (typically 30–90 days). When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you — such as the right to request access, correction, or deletion. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the contact form on this website. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect the information we hold — including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) for all data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate steps to protect your information against accidental loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please contact us via the form and we will promptly delete it.
10. International transfers
Vaayum Technologies Private Limited is based in India. When you submit information to us, it is processed and stored in India. Our email delivery and spam-protection service providers may process data in other jurisdictions; where they do, they are required to maintain protections consistent with applicable law. We are mindful of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and will implement any additional obligations as the rules under that Act are notified and come into effect.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Contact us
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, please reach us through the contact form on this website. We do not publish a direct email address or phone number for privacy enquiries; the form routes your message to the right person.
