1. What this notice covers

This Cookie Notice explains what cookies and browser storage mechanisms Vaayum Technologies uses on vaayum.tech, and what choices you have. We keep it short and accurate: we only list what we actually use.

2. What we use today

Theme preference (browser local storage)

When you switch between the light and dark site theme using the toggle in the header, we store your choice in your browser's local storage under the key vt-theme. This is a purely functional preference — it keeps the site looking the way you chose on subsequent visits. It contains no personal information and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can clear it at any time via your browser's site-data settings.

Google reCAPTCHA (contact page only)

Our contact page is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated spam submissions. When the contact page loads, Google's reCAPTCHA script may set one or more cookies in your browser and collect hardware and software information (including your IP address and browser characteristics) to determine whether you are a human visitor. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

reCAPTCHA cookies are set by google.com and gstatic.com domains. They are used solely for spam-prevention purposes — not for advertising or cross-site tracking by us.

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2: all storage is denied by default and the Google Analytics script is not loaded until you accept, so no analytics cookies are set unless you opt in. No personally identifiable data is sent to Google. You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time: .

3. What we do NOT use

Beyond the consent-gated Google Analytics in section 2, we use no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels on this website. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors and we do not share browsing data with ad networks.

If this changes in the future, we will update this notice and the "Last updated" date before deploying any new cookies, and we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism where required by law.

Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect the functionality of parts of the site. Blocking reCAPTCHA cookies may prevent the contact form from submitting successfully. Clearing local storage will reset your theme preference to the default.
